John Legend & The Roots are creating an album together! If you didn’t know that, you are late on the train as the album (which is entitled Wake Up!) is set to release Semptember 21st. That being said they’ve released this recording of a studio session while they were laying down their remake to Bill Withers’ “I Can’t Write Left-Handed.” All I can say, is this album should be a much needed breath of super fresh air! I recently visited the Grammy Musuem in Los Angeles, CA and overall it was pretty dope. Throughout the museum I noticed many things in reference to Kanye’s 2008 performance at the Grammy’s in which he performed ‘Stronger’ with Daft Punk. In that performance, he showcased an LED sewn blazer and LED laden glasses as well (both are featured in the museum). I remember watching that Grammy’s and thinking the performance was historic… Clearly the Grammy Museum agrees. Proof of the trip and the performance follows…
