Being a Lakers fan for as long as I have, I can definitely take for granted the Lakers winning a championship. It happens more often than not, so for me its very important to take a look back after all the celebrating has died down to really appreciate what was done.The year long injuries to Kobe, Bynum, Gasol and also Ron makes this championship much more special because of all the adversity that they had to endure. Coupled with the fact that it was a back to back championship which is very difficult to do, along with the injuries is something a lot of Laker fans don't take into account because, like myself at times, we just expect it. Thank you Los Angeles Lakers for a great and memorable season. Until next year when we can do it all over again.
